bleep. originally started out as an idea I had, and named "Moofsoft" after the infamous Clarus the Dogcow. After a bit of research into trademark issues, the name had to be ditched, as apparently Apple Computers Inc. owns the trademark to "Moof" and all its derivatives. After an intense late-night brainstorming session over IM with a good friend, we came to the conclusion that "bleep" would be a fantastic company name, especially given my tendency to curse...a lot. Currently, BuildFactory is our only commercial product, projects like Browsejour, and BugTrap were used more as educational vehicles to fine tune our familiarity with various Cocoa subsystems, like Bonjour and CoreServuces. In addition to Cocoa related development, we've forayed into releasing some of our internal PHP work (Anonymantis), and in the future we'll be releasing some Mono (C#) based products that aim to support both Mac and Windows platforms (via the Dumbarton framework).
