I'll be the first to admit, in it's current state, Browsejour is kind of a hack...I'm aware, but I'm fixing it as we speak...sort of.
Anyways, I have some reasonably good news, I received an email yesterday from a fellow in charge of organizing the cover CD for "Univers Mac" (apparently the french equivalent of MacWorld) asking if they could put Browsejour 0.1.1 on their CD; I said yes of course, so if anybody knows how I can get a copy of the february issue of 'Univers Mac', let me know.
The other good Browsejour news, is that we've had over 1300 downloads since we (ok, so I wrote it, so I guess it's me) released it last saturday morning. Neat.
I figure for version 0.2.0 (which I'm working on now, in my nonexistant free time) there'll be an IP address column, and a more sensical layout (i.e. hosts on the left, services on the right)
Now if this funny little "school" thing wasn't in the way...

Last night (moreso early early early [ad infinium] this morning) I released Browsejour version 0.1.
I'd have to say that I'm now familiar with the whole "release" process. It was quite a pain to get the webpage setup correctly, the disk image looking perfect, along with making sure that the applications were correct for getting this little application listed on SoftPedia ( http://softpedia.com/ ), VersionTracker ( http://www.versiontracker.com ), and Apple's own download site ( http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/ )
Unfortunately, I could not build a compatible release for Mac OS 10.3, so it is limited to 10.4 and up. It is however, a universal binary, so hopefully it'll work on Apple's new iMacs and MacBook Pros.
